Beef Addiction - Red Rock ( レッドロック )

I would like to introduce Red Rock, a shop I recommend. The restaurant is famous for its big roast beef bowl. I waited in line about 1 hour even though it was afternoon. There were more young women than men in the restaurant. 

'Red Rock' is located in several places like Kobe, Osaka, Kyoto and Harajuku. I went to the Harajuku's location on a day when my friends and I were out shopping. It takes around fifteen minutes from Harajuku station to Red Rock. Before entering the restaurant, you have to order at a vending machine. There are the English names for the items, so people who cannot understand Japanese and do not need to worry when they order.

I ordered a Roast Beef Don (￥880) which is the most popular meal in this restaurant. Red Rock serves its Roast Beef rare, but it was not bloody. You can choose special sauce on yogurt sause. 

On the other hand, one of my friends ate Steak Don (￥950）which is the second most popular item. 

According to comments on the internet, this restaurant is crowded with people everyday. I think the only problem is the wait time. If you have a chance to go there, you should avoid  lunch time. Unfortunately, you cannot make a reservation there, and the restaurant has only 48 seats in spite of its popularity. However, in my opinion, these meals are worth waiting a long time as I mentioned for.

Review:

Robert Zemeckis, the director of this movie, was born in the United States, where Forrest Gump takes place. People were impressed with his movies Romancing the Stone (1984) and Back to the Future (1985). He received both an Academy Awards and a Golden Globe, so this story should be known to people all over the world.

This story has a style where Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks), who is the main character of this story, recalls and tells people about his background and experience while he is waiting for a bus.

I think not only Tom Hanks, but also Robin Wright act well as main characters although they had to perform as if they were in happy or complicated situation. I suggest that Tom Hunks expresses his emotion as Forrest Gump by his action. Especially, I really like how he expresses his sad emotion. For example, When Bubba (Mykelti Williamson), the best friend of him, happened something during Vietnam War, his expression was amazing ( See and check the scene!).  Robin Wright also expresses her sad emotion well. In her case, she had to perform in sad situations more than Hanks did, but her performances made me sad as well as her situations.

At the beginning and end of the movie, a bird`s feather is blown off to Forrest. Probably, you may think these scenes are not related to the movie. However, it is! When you have an opportunity to watch the movie, I would like you to think what the feather means in the movie.

Finally, let me tell you my review of the movie. This movie is kind of romantic, but it includes scenes of Vietnam War. If you dislike to see grotesque scenes, you should not watch the scene. After I watched this movie, I was wondering why Forrest and Jenny are completely different in terms of lifestyle, family and future. I think the differences make the movie more interesting.
